What is Chemical Safety Training?
Chemical safety training helps employees recognise chemical hazards and use the information provided through labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), procedures and workplace signs. It explains exposure routes, compatibility, storage, transfer, personal protection, hygiene and emergency response. The programme is tailored to the chemicals, quantities, tasks and participant responsibilities at the client’s workplace.
Training does not replace a chemical risk assessment, industrial-hygiene monitoring, medical advice, specialist spill response or engineering design. PPE and emergency recommendations must be verified against the specific SDS, exposure and task.

Who should attend chemical safety training?
Employees who receive, store, transfer, use, clean up or supervise chemicals should attend content relevant to their tasks. Emergency teams may require additional response training.
Can you use our Safety Data Sheets?
Yes. Representative current SDS files make exercises more useful and help participants learn where to find critical information.
Does the programme cover GHS labels and pictograms?
Yes. Hazard communication, pictograms, signal words, statements and SDS structure can be included at the level appropriate for participants.
Can spill response be demonstrated?
Awareness-level demonstrations or tabletop scenarios can be included. Hands-on response requires suitable kits, PPE, competent supervision and a clearly controlled exercise.
Is the same course suitable for all employees?
Not always. General users, warehouse teams, laboratory personnel, maintenance workers and emergency responders have different exposure and decision-making needs, so modules may be separated.
